The FUNNEL Coat is an oversized, long and lined coat with raglan sleeves, inspired by the classic trench coat. The coat features a belt at the hips and a wide front placket with buttons. It has a funnel collar and pockets placed just above the chest. The sleeves have adjustable straps at the bottom of the sleeves.

The FUNNEL Coat can be sewn in both a short and a long version.

Please note if you are planning to print A4 format you will need to print 53 pages for the outer fabric and 34 pages for the lining. The pattern is also available in a paper version (you'll find link above).

Fabric recommendations:
The pattern is designed for woven fabrics. We recommend choosing a fabric with some structure but not too much.

Outer fabric: A heavier-weight fabric such as denim,
wool, corduroy, waterproof gabardine, beaver nylon,
or cotton twill (approximately 200-300 g/m² or
5.90-8.80 oz/yd²)

Lining fabric: Cotton satin, viscose, or a synthetic
lining fabric such as polyester, acetate or satin.

Interfacing: Use interfacing for lightweight to medium-weight fabrics (G710), or if you are using a very thick fabric, use G405.
