The TIE TOTE is a small tote bag with ties (obviously…). Use it for shopping, wrapping gifts or for storing small things.

The TIE TOTE is the perfect project for fabric scraps, since not much fabric is needed.

You will need a piece of fabric measuring 78 x 52 cm. This includes handles and ties, so if you don’t have that much, you can always purchase bias tape or other ties instead of making them from the fabric.

The pattern is made for woven fabrics. You can use almost any kind of woven fabric for the TIE TOTE. The fabric really depends on how you intend to use it. If it’s for wrapping gifts, a light fabric will be fine, but if you intend to carry something heavy in it, the sturdier the fabric the better.
