This pattern is a collaboration with our dear friends at TAUKO Magazine and was featured in issue no. 19.

For this pattern, we have used TAUKO’s measurements and not our regular Puff and Pencil size chart. Please refer to the measurement table shown among the product photos when choosing your size.

The FRAY Pants have a mid‐waist fit, wide legs, and a side panel detail. They feature a fly front, finished with a zip and button closure. The design includes a waistband with a decorative flap and side seam pockets. They can be sewn either with a clean finish or with a frayed edge. The pattern comes in two versions: full length pants and bermuda version.

This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Choose a fabric that has a bit of structure, but not too much. Fabric types such as denim, linen, lightweight wool, corduroy, and cotton twill all work well for these pants.
