The BACKLESS dress in combination with our VOLUME sleeve.

The BACKLESS dress is a fitted dress with a small cutout in the front. The dress is made with an open turtle neck that ends in ties at the back. The dress is backless and around the waist there are two belts which are crossed at the front and tied at the back. The wrap effect with the belts and the elastic band at the back makes the dress a comfortable close-fitting dress, as you can adjust the fit the way you prefer. If you want longer ties to be able to e.g. make bows the ties must be extended until the desired length is achieved. The dress is made without zippers, and it can be sewn with or without sleeves.

The VOLUME sleeve ends at the middle of the forearm. It has a bit puff at the shoulder, which is made with gathering thread. The sleeve hem is made with an elastic.

Fabric recommendations:
The pattern is made primarily for woven fabrics, but can also be sewn in stretch. Stretch is more difficult to sew in than woven fabric. Avoid choosing a fabric that is too thick, in order for the dress to drape nicely. If you are in doubt about the fabric, poplin, crepe, woven viscose, or satin all work well for this dress.

For fabric widths of 145 cm:
XXS-S : approx. 220 cm
M-L : approx. 250 cm
XL-XXL : approx. 330 cm

If you would like to extend the ties you have to add this to the amount of fabric you need.
