FAQ —
What is a digital sewing pattern?
Digital sewing patterns let you begin your sewing project right now! Our digital sewing patterns are PDF files in A4 and A0 format (A4 works for US letter size as well). If you print it in A4 format, we will guide you through how to tape the pages together and cut out the final pattern pieces.
How do I know which size to choose?
You will find our measurement table here, along with recommendations for how to choose your size.
On each pattern you will also find final garment measurements, so you know how much ease each pattern has.
What is included in my purchase?
- Both Danish and English files are included in each purchase
- A4 pattern (works for US letter size as well)
- A0 pattern
- Manual with illustrations and video guides for most steps
What is the difficulty level of the patterns?
We strive to make patterns that even beginners can make. In addition to thorough descriptions, our manuals include illustrations and video guides for most steps, as well as a dictionary. That being said, some of our patterns require a little more experience than others. If you are a total beginner, then we recommend starting with the Tie Blouse with Cone sleeves, which is over easiest pattern.
However, many patterns look more difficult than they are! Our Topstitch vest is a good example. We know you can do it <3
How much fabric is needed for my project?
On each product page there is a drop down menu that shows you how much fabric is needed for each size. Keep in mind that the amount of fabric is only for the product shown, so if you are adding sleeves or collar, please add the fabric requirement for these as well.
Where can I print A0 format?
Most local copy shops will print A0. If you want it printed and sent to you, online copy shops are available as well.
Can I use Puff and Pencil patterns for teaching purposes?
